Goals for December 25-31, 2016

Merry Christmas!

This week is going to be loaded. We’ll be celebrating Christmas on Monday (due to some work conflicts), office Tuesday, traveling early to Portland for an awesome all day tournament Wednesday and Thursday (The Les Schwab Invitational, if you are a hoop junkie you must check this out), back late Thursday night and back to the office Friday. Jenn works Saturday and Sunday.

So the next few days are going to be about enjoying family when it is family time and then shifting right back in to maximizing every minute outside of family to get done in about 3 days what normally takes a week.

Goals for this week:

  • Publish weekly goals
  • Publish a review of Will It Fly by Pat Flynn
  • Outline meal plan for traveling to Portland
  • Add three more relevant people to LinkedIn
  • Comment on a Feedly article
  • Comment on a LinkedIn article or post
  • Comment on a Facebook post
  • Post a business article to Facebook

Weekly schedule

Sunday

  • This week’s theme and how it ties in to a brand characteristic: Set your plan then FOCUS on what you are doing right now
  • Hashtags to use (mainstream and niche): #plan #focus #family #maximize
  • Where can we get some original images or video: template look at new website, coffee shop, airport, gym, program
  • Update daily goals
  • Schedule goals

Monday

  • Outline Will It Fly – general thoughts, how I would use it, what I liked (50 min)
  • Comment on LinkedIn post (10 min)

Tuesday

  • Continue Will It Fly (40 min)
  • Outline travel meal plan – calorie and macro goals, how to travel with food – account for things you know you are going to do (coffee, chinese food, etc) (15 minutes)
  • Schedule Leadpages review on LinkedIn and Facebook (5 minutes)

Wednesday

  • Travel day – if we get some time in airport then try to connect with someone on LinkedIn

Thursday

  • Finish Will It Fly review (40 minutes)
  • Thank somebody (10 minutes)
  • Content curation (10 minutes)

Friday

  • Notes on travel meal plan – did it work, what would I change (30 minutes)
  • Comment on Feedly articles and then follow the author (30 minutes)

Saturday

  • Outline travel meal plan post
  • Is Twitter better for me than Facebook?
  • 2017 big picture goals – what do I want to accomplish with my brand:
    • authority in some area
    • get published
    • give talks
    • create guides

Last week was pretty slow. A small procedure and a bunch of snow kept me out of the office and lounging for two and a half days. Stir crazy I’m going. Missing the warm weather but I’m definitely missing the freedom to get out and move!
